Selections can be a long and tedious process for some people. Narrowing down the aesthetic, functionality and livability of your home are some of the most important decisions, so here’s a few ways you can help the process go as smooth as possible:

🧐1. Do your research - figure out what wood colours you like, favourite style cabinetry and maybe pick your top 3 colour schemes. Start a few Pinterest boards for some visual inspiration. AYour agent and our team can help you narrow things down from there!

❓2. Ask questions - there’s a lot of decisions to make during the new home construction process, but our team will make sure you don’t feel overwhelmed. You are more than welcome to ask questions about what fits in your budget, how much upgrades cost, what upgrades are worth it in the long run, etc. Don’t be afraid to ask questions during the process!

💗3. Try to be open minded - if you have your heart set on something you may end up disappointed if it doesn’t fit within your budget, so try being open to variations or other options. Our team will do our best to make sure you’re in love with your new home!

2024 has arrived and we’ve collected a few prediction trends for the new year…

1. Deep, Rustic Reds - this trend stems from the fashion world where red has become the colour of the season. Naturally it trickles into the interior design world, so we’ve been seeing this colour being used for walls in powder rooms, bedrooms and offices as well as in bold furniture for statement pieces. 🧡

2. Simple Wall Detailing - fluted panel walls and wainscotting are making an appearance this year bringing an understated elegance to any room. 💛

3. Tiles Used Uniquely - in the past we’ve seen simple tiles like subway tiles making a comeback. They’ll still be in the mix but used in various ways, by mixing with another tile style or being used in unique designs, these tiles are being used in creative ways to make simple statements. We are also seeing more combinations of flooring, perhaps mixed colours and patterns, more checkered tiles, and more colour in exterior tiles and kitchen tiling as well. ❣️

4. Cozy Grandpa Vibes - our favourite of them inspired by grandpas all over. Think dark woods, deep, rich colours, rugs, gallery walls and of course, statement grandfather clocks. This trend is sure to warm your heart and your home in 2024! 💙

It is with heavy hearts that as a family we share the passing of our dear Mother & Grandmother - Nanny, Joan Marchand.

As the matriarch of our family, Joan always kept us on our toes - laughing, being silly and spreading joy wherever she went. Those who knew her know she would make friends everywhere and always had a smile on her face.

We will miss her presence everyday, but knowing she has joined her beloved Ray (Grandad) in heaven brings a smile to our faces.

Please share your favourite memory of our beautiful Nanny if you ever had the pleasure of meeting her. These stories fill our hearts in times of sorrow.

Rest in Peace Nanny - we love you! 💖
