The Shack has landed!

After plenty of long days and late nights of framing, assembling, staining, glueing, sanding, insulating, lifting, shifting, stacking, hauling, and a little cursing…she is finally out on the ice and ready to fish!

Could not have made it happen without a lot of help from my friends. Thanks to you all!

Booking trips from now until March 15th. Over 24 inches of ice out there and the Spring fishing is always my favourite time to get out there. Warmer temps and increased activity for the many species of fish we are after.

Taking reservations for half and full day ice fishing trips for groups up to 16 people.

All trips include professional guide, heated shelters, live bait, tackle, rods, tip-ups, and lunch cooked on the ice.

Weather conditions look promising for an early January start and season runs until March.

What can I say? My guests take much better pictures than I do and this place is Off the Charts.
Big thanks to all my guests so far this season for the excellent photos.
Lodge life is just alright.

Seeing lots of sunrises and sunsets on the ice this week.
Seeing lots of flags too!
5 species and over 20 fish landed and released today on a solo scouting trip to a new area. Fish finder was lit up and I ran out of bait by the end of it.

2 lakers over 30 inches today.
Camera hand was wet from going shoulder deep to grab this spectacular lake trout.
Looking forward to the next month of fishing and lodge life...

Off the Charts Outfitters is pleased to be offering all inclusive ice fishing tours for 2018.

Guests will enjoy staying in a newly renovated spacious lodge on beautiful North Lake.

Located near Canturbury, on Maine border.

- 12 beds in 7 private bedrooms, professional kitchen, 7 bathrooms

-pool table, keg fridge with tap, large games room

-outdoor wood heated hot tub and sauna

Located on the water, this is a great base for some of New Brunswick's best ice fishing action.
We set up a heated 6x12ft shelter and electronic fish finder for our guests and target lake trout, landlocked salmon, whitefish, burbot, white perch, pickeral, and the occasional smallmouth bass.
Your guided trip includes all rods, tackle, tip ups, live bait, and a cooked lunch on the ice. We also keep the kettle going with hot chocolate and coffee. Your NB level 1 guide will help you with advice on presentation, fish behavior, and probably tell some fish stories.

Picked up a few new lures for the 2018 ice fishing opener on Monday.
Also got a new portable minnow pump to keep the bait lively as a Christmas gift.
All tackle provided on guided trips.
