Working on a new cabled blanket for my couch. A gorgeous emerald green. I will also make either a table runner of the same material, or placemats. Pictures when you can actually see the cables!

Just finished another granny square afghan for myself. 121 sqares and fits a queen sized bed. 80 Hours of work.

Only one pattern repeat (50 rows) and I'm done the Lover's Knot afghan!!! About... 12 hours left... so 3 days, give or take. It'll be interesting to know how many hours I worked on this!

According to my calculations (ahem), if I knit for 3 hours every day, I should be done the Lover's Knot in 2 weeks. I can hope, can't I?

Finally got the gigantic ball of yarn untangled to continue the Lover's Knot afghan for my friend. I cut the thread after making a finishing row, the half-finished afghan is in the washer (on gentle!) and I'll pick it back up to continue when it is dry, hopefully later tonight. Seriously, though, I've got to get a better hold on my yarn! It was a huge mess!

After a slight hiatus, I'm - nearly - ready to get back into the thick of things. I have a few personal things to take care of, mainly my oldest starting school (and getting everything together for this huge change in our lives!). Big things to come, so I hope everyone tunes in, because this is it!

I've taken a break from my regular knitting, to work on my holiday knitting, i.e. prezzies for family and friends. Also, the blanket I'm making as my first order (the Lover's Knot) is taking a small hiatus, due to the right yarn being MIA. Seriously, I can't find it anywhere. It'll turn up, though, because it's such a beautiful blue, the stores will have to stock them again. Right?

I've completed 6" of the Lover's Knot blanket, that was my first order! I had a lot of fun the first time I made this project, and it's just as much fun the second time around!

I just finished 2 new soap bags, in lovely blue with silver specks. I'm very excited to give them to their intended owners :) Technically the first things going out since I started my small business, and they were given away, but I still count it, because I'm going to get testimonials out of them!
