Meet the weaving maestro of Sanaa, Tanzania! 🌟 Using a foot-operated weaving machine, he turns threads into works of art. Watch as tradition and innovation intertwine, creating stunning, sustainable textiles. ✨ SANAA is a wonderful project highlighting marginalised people who make amazing products. In their workshop disabled artists create unique products, mainly from recycled waste. These are sold in their concept store on site which is also home to Sanaa Cafe & Restaurant. 🎥@afriboheme#weavingwonders #sustainablecraft #creativeartisans #footoperatedloom #traditionalcraftsmanship #recycledmaterials #culturalweaving #bohoafrikatribe #responsibletourism #africanadventures #authenticexperiences #culturalconnections
Flambée! 🔥
We dined one night at Ali Barbour restaurant in Diani Beach, Kenya. When we saw they served Crepe Suzette (French dessert consisting of crêpes with beurre Suzette, a sauce of caramelized sugar and butter, tangerine or orange juice, zest, and Grand Marnier, triple sec or orange Curaçao liqueur on top, flambéed table side), we couldn’t resist.
The chef told me why don’t you do a video in slow-mo? I kinda like the result. What do you think?
