What's Up Montreal? was founded in 2012 as a YouTube web show which quickly made us popular and allowed us to have our own TV show with Bell Media. Thanks to this initiative, we gained multiple opportunities and became a full-fledged company.

We started Creator HQ in 2014 as a project to connect and support creators. We've had several opportunities to work with YouTube and other top brands.

In Stats:
• We have worked with over 200 freelancers and talents
• Organize more than 150 events in 4 years
• We have produced over 300 videos and lead several commercial and creative productions.

What we are looking for:

The community and communication manager will be responsible for animating our social networks, building the company's community on social networks, writing communications and working on the communication strategy while applying the concepts shown in university (consumer behavior and more).


She will have to make sure to keep the community engaged and dedicated. All unlearned skills will be taught to the trainee and he will be supervised to ensure his success.

Un peu de nous. What's Up Montréal? a été fondée en 2012 en tant que webshow YouTube qui nous a rapidement rendus populaires et nous a permis d'avoir notre propre émission de télévision avec Bell Media. The content will be primary used on various Web based platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook, Linkedin and more. The candidate must not only grasp basic knowledge in video production and editing but also understand the short format addictive video type that is ever popular these days such as Instagram Reels and TikTok.

Video editing can be done via traditional video editing software and/or mobile edits.

The What's Up Montreal? team will be assisting you along your internship, introducing you to neat production tools and sharing with you some inside scoop about the video production industry and how to make it.

This is a paid Internship and is open to any Cegep or University student who is returning to school for Fall 2021 across Canada. starting $18/hour and based on your experience.
