Speargrass Homes is excited to be able to respond to the local housing need here in Caronport! We are currently in the framing process on a new spec build that will be up for sale this winter. It is a 1024 sq ft split level bungalow with a detached garage, that boasts an 850 sq ft secondary suite with a separate entrance, and separate laundry. Not only will the secondary suite help reduce monthly mortgage payments but the Saskatchewan Gov't is also offering a grant of $35,000 for homes that are equipped with a suite! So now is a great time to purchase a home like this!

Our hope is to be able to keep responding to this need and get more local residents into homes that are both quality and affordable.

Sneak peek on the second building going up out in the country. This is their Monitor Barn with the hip roofed shop in distance. Did you know that this style of barn was designed in the late 1800’s and the raised centre aisle provided farmers with much needed air circulation and ventilation as well as a way to provide natural light. This was a game changer for farmers in climates with long winter months for the care of their livestock and stored grains.
