The Kootenay region is full of amazing professionals with vast knowledge and experience. However, until now there have not been any high-quality publications that can truly help connect local busineses with new clients. Kootenay Connections will be publishing four full-colour magazines:

2. Parents – kids in the Kootenays – making the bes
t of a great thing
4. Small Business – helping Kootenay businesses succeed
Focused on encouraging balance and enjoyment in life, the magazines are professionally designed to be visually engaging, easy to read and inspiring. Issues will include exceptional tips from top specialists, compelling articles, recipes, local business spotlights, local person of the month, and a directory of local professionals ready to serve the readers’ needs. Each issue will support a local charity and are printed locally on recycled paper. The magazines will be freely distributed throughout the Kootenays to businesses, visitor centres, wellness conferences and through the Welcome Wagon in Nelson, Trail and Castlegar. Kootenay Connections will also be hosting several different weekend events that will include local and international speakers, exhibitors from around the area, mini experiences related to the theme, coupon books for participants and other related activities throughout the weekend. With sponsorship, speaker, vendor, volunteer and participant opportunities – there is something for everyone.
