Queen of the Pacific

The heart and soul of the South Pacific, Tahiti is the largest in a chain of islands that make up French Polynesia. The name can either refer to the main island or the entire destination. Commonly referred to as The Islands of Tahiti. You may be wondering, where is Tahiti? The islands are situated halfway between Los Angeles, California and Sydney, Australia.

Since the word often conjures up visions of a distant, unspoiled paradise, many assume them to be far away; but in all reality, Tahiti is only eight hours from Los Angeles.

Tahiti Nui is dominated by three extinct volcanic mountains including Mount Orohena, the tallest in French Polynesia; Mount Aorai, known for its incredible views; and Le Diadème, which appears to crown the island as the rightful queen.

Saba is untouched by the world’s fast modern pace. This Dutch Caribbean island is the definition of the traditional Caribbean: safe, hospitable and charming, with breathtaking natural beauty.

A Caribbean island in the Lesser Antilles chain, it is a special municipality of the Netherlands. Measuring just 13 square kilometers, it consists mainly of the dormant Mount Scenery volcano. Its surrounding Saba Marine Park is a renowned dive site. The home to coral formations, dolphins, sharks and turtles. There are also offshore seamounts, or underwater mountains created by volcanic activity.

How safe is Saba during Covid-19? According to the CDC, Saba is among the few Islands in the world where Covid-19 hasn’t made a big impact.
A negative Covid-19 test is required to enter the Island.

If Iceland isn’t on your travel radar, it should be. This is one cool country, and we’re not just talking the weather. If you don't have your passport or you need to renew your passport and you plan on traveling any time in the near future, take care of it ASAP. Passport processing is taking longer than the normal 10 days. If your passport expires within 6 months, many countries still will not allow entry.
