As a young fella growing up, I was always engaged in a variety of ways to make money.
My name is Alan White, from western Alberta, Canada.
I came from a farm and ranching background and so the โwork ethicโ was engrained in me at a very young age.
Although my mom and dad were great providers, nearly all the money we made as a family was re-invested back into our farm and ranch.
As I got older, I do recall getting a very small โallowanceโ on occasion, but receiving it was contingent to all my chores being completed to the high expectations of my parents.
My grandparents were no different; it was our way of life.
Anyhow just to give a snapshot, I found myself growing and selling garden produce, canning and selling vegetables, picking bottles from the road ditches on horseback, hand-milking cows, selling the separated cream to the creamery, and helping my two journeyman uncles with some construction-building tasks, when I could fit it in to an already busy schedule and lifestyle.
Being the eldest, I was kept very busy assisting my parents, in addition to attending school full-time.
Nevertheless, I found time here and there to squeeze in these few entrepreneurial enterprises, to make a bit of spending money, too.
A bit later near graduation I went to work more steadily for my two uncles, as I always had a love for design, construction, and building things.
I was able to free myself a bit more from my previous routines, as my 3 younger siblings grew older and were called to duty.
Being a Gemini by birth, I have always been a BIG DREAMER and an entrepreneurial, good-natured soul.
Being a self-employed entrepreneur has always been my passion, and it only strengthened with age.
Therefore, outside working for my parents as a youngster, I have never been an employee to anyone.
Ultimately, I bought out my two uncles construction business, and age 17, with a combination of savings, and a loan from the bank in the small town where I grew up.
Since the winters in Alberta were brutal, thus preventing any outdoor construction, that is when I went to school, to complete my post-graduate learning.
7 years later, I received my degree in architectural design, and also finished my journeyman ticket in construction, in 1980.
In 1982, I came up with the bright idea to also procure a Century 21 Real Estate Franchise, since it seemed to be a natural marriage--- build and sell too.
That set me back another quarter-of-a-million+ Canadian dollars, to establish the real estate division at my company, URBREG Inc. (Universal Residential Builders & Real Estate Group Inc.)
For more than 40 years, I went through feasts and famine, booms and busts in construction and real estate.
As I approached my โGolden Years,โ (I have no idea WHY they are referred to as that, as there is little, if anything โgoldenโ about them) I didnโt bend or climb ladders, or balance myself nearly as good as I once did.
So, I needed to find something that gave an equally good revenue-stream and lifestyle, but with a lot less physical work.
I experimented with many different undertakings over the past 10 years.
Finally, one July evening, I betrothed for this remarkable Internet Business.
Undoubtedly, it was the single best career-move I have ever made in my life.
Right from the time I first watched the complimentary webinar, and witnessed the proven, semi- automated system, I loved everything I saw.
I understood that with a bit of work, investment, patience, and consistency (all things I was very familiar with already, from my business-life) this Internet Business would give me the lighter duty work, financial stability, and time liberty that I sought.
For me, it checked every one of the boxes, on my โshopping list,โ so I plunged in with both feet.
Fast forward a half a decade+, this online enterprise exceeds anything else I have ever done.
IF it would have been available many years sooner, I sure could have saved this poor ole body of mine a lot of wear, tear, and physical abuse.
My dreams have remained huge!
Now, my loving wife and I like to spend time doing Cruises on the seven seas, while our internet Business runs around the clock, all year long, bringing cheques to our mailbox, with only minimal attendance and maintenance from us.
I must be ๐ฏ% forthright though; it does take some work to get it all up and running to that point.
But then what doesnโt, right? Anything worth having takes some effort!
I often get asked if I was not worried about getting burned in the online space.
The answer I give has always been consistent.
Not particularly, because after a lifelong career in construction and real estate, I have been awakened to pretty much every scam, and shady, crooked deal that was ever invented!
It is just fine to be a bit nervous, afraid, or even skeptical though; I GET IT!
Of course, do your due diligence, and go in with both eyes opened wide.
It is NOT for lazy people who think they are gunna get-rich-quick, with no work done though.
However, knowing now what I do, to me it is abundantly clear, that with as many people who are already involved as we have in our community; they cannot ALL be all wrong.
I also get it that you might have been stung in your past life, I have been too.
In fact, in my over 40+ years in business, I have gotten hung out to dry for hundreds of thousands of dollars.
But I never stopped, quit, or gave up on my dreams, or my passions.
Of course, it is your life to live, but my recommendation is that you shouldnโt either.
I always tell folks who askโฆ โDonโt let the disappointments and fears from your past, limit and destroy your dreams of the future.โ
WHY would you, right?
Just because your high school sweetheart ditched you, does not mean that you abandon trying to find new love, forever.
I encourage you to get in touch with the person who brought you into this "proof-group," and let them know you WANNA MOVE ON UP!
It's your first step to becoming a business owner, and to taking FULL control of YOUR OWN life.
Turn your dreams into realities, instead of just leaving them as wishful thoughts.
Living our dream of cruising the Seven Seas is outstanding, remarkable, and has truly turned these years into "GOLDEN."
