Proud to achieve Superhost status this month! We have worked very hard to manage our home through these challenging times. We are excited that our quests are happy with our efforts. The Refugio will be rented all winter but check out our bookings in Spring 2022 and plan your trip to the South Okanagan!

Have you been meaning to stop in the Similkameen Valley wine region? Wondering where exactly it is? The 12 wineries and cideries of the Similkameen Independent Winegrowers are just east of the Village of Keremeos around Cawston and along and off the beautiful Crowsnest Highway 3. The region is 30 minutes south of Penticton and starts about 15 minutes west of Osoyoos and is only 4 hours from the Lower Mainland. Itās a beautiful drive no matter which direction you arrive from! This year plan to experience our relaxed tasting rooms and patios when you can, have a bite to eat at winery/cidery restaurants, and experience the beauty of the region.
Anthony Gismondi describes our region as a ārising starā (we are so flattered!). Hotels, accommodations and campsites in the South Okanagan were caught off guard with the BC Provincial governmentās announcement on Monday, with new COVID-19 restrictions on non-essential travel for BC residents outside their own health authority regions expected to come out on Friday.
Penticton council gave the first three readings to bring back limited public drinking
Unfortunately, we have had to cancel reservations made by people residing outside of Interior Health Authority through to the end of May due to new COVID regulations. With that said, there is space available to people within the IHA if you would like to plan a getaway!
B.C. will introduce sweeping new travel restrictions designed to make sure British Columbians are staying within their health authorities.
