The Titanic exhibit in Vegas never fails to amaze me. Seeing an actual piece of the hull that was raised from the wreck is absolutely awe-inspiring.

Ice Dive 2023!!! We will be putting on a Ice Diver Course on Jan 21st and 22nd. We will be meeting at Trout Lake near Twin Lakes golf course, at 10am those days. There is limited space available, so book early. Must be Advanced Open Water certified to take the Ice Diver Course. There is space available for Ice certified divers as well. As a Suunto dealer I have been given the opportunity to sell Suunto smart watches and thier outdoor compass line. However there is a fairly large initial purchase. So I putting some feelers out to see if there is enough demand/support for Oceantec to carry this line. Because these watches are offered by larger companies such as Sportchek and BestBuy, I don't want to end up with a lot of inventory I can't move. Any input would be appreciated. Thank you.

The Save Sickle Point Committee teamed up with a local Kaleden scuba operation to find rare endangered Rocky Mountain ridged mussels in Skaha Lake, a species unique to the Okanagan Valley in all of Canada.

Looking for 5 or 6 divers to volunteer for an ecological dive to find and document rocky mountain ridge mussels. On Sat April 17th. Meeting location will be the boat launch in Kaleden at 10am. Air will be supplied. Divers must be able to stay in the 5°C water for at least 45min. Max depth will be 15'.
