With the first snow day here, these are great winter driving reminders!
With the forecast looking the way it is, just want to provide some simple reminders to help keep you safe.
1) Make sure your fluids are all topped up and think about switching to winter rated products.
2) Clean ALL your windows fully. Don't rely on your defrost to do it for you while you're already driving.
3) If you see snow plows in front of you, give them space and let them do their job. They're only going to make the road safer for you to travel on.
4) Make sure your tires are good for the conditions you're driving in. Snow tires truly do make a difference.
Every year we see people out on the road that seem to forget that we have to adjust our driving to match current conditions. Give yourself extra time and be patient and you'll get to where you're going and have a better chance of getting there safely.
Hopefully this message is a bit premature, and if it helps, there's only 111 days left until spring!
