Salthaven volunteers poured their hearts and souls into trying to get this northern harrier back in the air. For six weeks they changed his bandages every two days to stretch his wings, gave medication twice daily, along with endless feedings. Unfortunately, it wasn’t meant to be. His fractured humerus did not heal properly and he had to be euthanized. A special shout out to the VCA Masonville animal clinic for their valiant effort on this little one’s behalf.
