Conservation Officers have been out patrolling island beaches for public awareness and compliance.

The patrols are aimed to make the public aware of the protection of wildlife, specifically endangered Piping Plovers that are nesting and raising chicks.

Some methods of conserving these birds:
🏖️Having dogs on leash
🏖️Giving them space
🏖️Avoiding fenced off areas

Conservation Officers would like to wish all beach users a safe and fun summer.
