My Vegas Trip
Food, Beverage and Entertainment
Well we all know the Good Ol Vegas days are gone, Its no longer an affordable holiday. We did still get free drinks while playing at the casino, just have to sit yourself close to a server. The pool drinks are crazy in price, so we had to find some ways around this. We filled water bottles with Malibu or Gin to the top, so they look full. You can also bring in water bottles if they are filled with ice so I filled my shaker cup to the very top with ice so if I shook it for them it sounded like just Ice but I had it also half filled with malibu. Sorry not sorry $40 for one drink is just insane!!!!! Also of course hit up happy hours usually 4-6!
Now Food, I always feel a little overwhelmed in Vegas with all the options for food.
We ate at New York New York, Mexican restaurant Gonzalez Gonzalez It was so good! Sue and I each ordered a meal and shared , we enjoyed a pitcher of Sangria with it which they also put in to go cups for us!! This meal was $68 Id say that’s pretty good.
Im a big fan of New York New York so we also ate at a sandwich place there, they are huge sandwiches so sue and I shared one $14 we were both full after.
I had 2 for 1 Buffet coupon for Bellagio and MGM (using my Popslot rewards)
Bellagio is so amazing, The prime rib, seafood selection, Asian, Mexican, and breakfast was everything you could have wanted, we finished off with 2 big scoops of Gelato!!! It is $60 a person so great deal for our 2 for 1. Paying that each not sure I could swallow.
MGM Grand Buffet only $34 a person so again our 2 for 1 not bad for a breakfast But compared to Bellagio I would not recommend it was just ok food. I would definitely pay the extra $15 for Bellagio.
Fremont street, We ate at Flippin Good Chicken, Best Nashville Chicken burgers we have had outside of Nashville, Also had Nashville fried pickles also so delicious we shared again as these were also huge meals.
Breakfast and Lunch I had in our hotel at Claim Jumper Both meals So delicious a breakfast Burrito and a Philadelphia tri tip beef Melt, very affordable Prices.
For entertainment we only did one show, The Mad Apple in New York New York it was amazing very entertaining with everything from music, acrobats, to comedians. We laughed a lot! I had 50% Code for this show (Pop Slots wins again) $168 For two tickets.
We really enjoyed the stage shows on Fremont one was a great country band, the other was like Blink 182/redhot chilli peppers it was just great songs one after another!!!
Also just a side note we saw very few homeless it's seemed to really have been cleaned up.
And the street characters that fill the strip and fremont. On Fremont you will now notice they are in a black circle situated throughout the area. They now have to be registered to be anywhere on fremont and are not allowed to leave that circle so they cant follow or harass you. If you come onto there circle it's game on but not out of, they can also not demand money for pictures it's all voluntary tips. I felt much more comfortable.
