This is my most favorite time of year! The Colors are amazing and just when you think it can't get any better with the leaves changing and falling, the Tamarck start turning into the rich burning orange color before they drop their needles
The Lazy Larch is snug and warm and there is still time to snuggle up on the cuddle couch outside!

So pleased with this lovely addition to an already wonderful space! Come and relax, check out and lay back on this covered deck! This sliding roof gazebo, with screens and wind shades was a well earned addition, as the Lazy Larch Cabin keeps up her 5 star rating! It just keeps getting better and better!

And Just like that, spring has sprung, the skis are hung and we start the ugly transition to spring. The mud is abundant here at the Twisted Ski BB but we can still watch the sun set from the deck, unwind and enjoy the long warm evenings.
Let the hiking season begin! Our trails here become to wet and soggy to use in the summer months but the Rocky, Nordegg and Abraham Lake areas are loaded with incredible trails, waterfalls and beautiful views and only a short drive for some great day tripping adventures!

What an incredible blessing it is to be surrounded by so many things that fill the soul! Nature, beagles and someone to ski with. That is how it should be. What fills your soul? Come for a visit, bring your dog. Ski, snowshoe, relax and just Be!

The beautiful, warm weather makes you want to get out side and just breath! Walk the trails to the lake and enjoy the sunsets here at the Twisted Ski Bed and Bale!
We recently hosted the sweetest little boy and his family. He was thrilled to be out on the trails in his sled,never taking his eyes of his momma, while dad did all the work! He is the kinda kid who also enjoys a good sunrise too! Sorry mom and dad!
When nature says to leave the skis, take a stroll in the trees instead!

What perfect conditions for a night ski! Thank you to everyone who ventured out to ski the trails with us! No lights required! We all had shadows in the bright moonlight and a warm fire with snacks to finish the night off! So much fun, our hearts are full to share this with you all! This Saturday, Feb. 4th, we would love to host an " almost full moon" Night Ski/Snowshoe!
The temperatures and snow load are perfect for some speed in the trees...I always feel faster skiing in the dark! It really is magical to just turn that light off and experience the woodsie night life. :)
Bring the family, a head lamp, glow sticks, reflective gear and a smile.
The fire will be burning hot for you to enjoy after your tour around the trees! Message for directions and details. Hot chocolate provided - Ski off at 630pm!!
