My name is Étienne Fournier and I was born in France in a small village located in the center East of France. In my 20s, I moved to Canada where I discovered the wonders of pottery. I started to work for a company, but a few months later I opened my own pottery shop for 20 years. I moved back to France where I worked for 10 years in Monaco. This is where I started to work with white porcelain clay
and I discovered a completely different world for my art. After that experience, I always dreamt about having my own workshop again where I could spend all of my free time. Well, better late than never, I recently settled in Quebec and after a lot of work I finally have my studio at home, where I can share my passion with my wife and daughter, and everyone who desire to learn about it. It was really important for me to pass down my knowledge and my experience to my children because when you have a passion, the most amazing gift is to see your people benefit of all this and pursuing what you have begun.
