Another happy vacationer returned from a week cruise on the Disney Fantasy. Here's her review of the whole experience from planning to travel to home:
"It's hard to believe that after eighteen months in the planning, our amazing adventure has come and gone.
Our birthday babes were well feted during our week on Disney's Fantasy. In true Disney fashion, everything was so magical. With over 1,000 children onboard, we were so impressed how well behaved they all were. For those of us who did not have wee ones to take care of, the adult only sections on deck were welcomed spots of quiet and serenity to enjoy. With activities and programs for infants to ages 17, kids were kept amused and entertained.
We were very impressed at how often the Disney characters were available for guests to get up close and personal throughout the cruise. Lines moved quickly and photographers allowed family members to take pictures with their own cameras after the professional ones had been snapped. A highlight for us was being treated to a fantastic fireworks show from the upper decks of the ship while at sea.
The Aqua Duck was also a big hit. The tube surrounds the ship often extending over the edge of the vessel. Although a very cushy ride in a comfortable raft, a few dips and sharp turns added some thrills along the way.
Many thanks to you and Amanda for all your assistance and attention to detail in bringing the magic of Disney to us. We are so very blessed and have returned with fond memories of our time together.
