If you are a short term rental business owner or operator in Newfoundland - you need to register by March 31, 2024. Time is ticking.

There are two levels of approval
1. Non-Tap Approved - means you did not submit an Insurance Policy Number and as such marketing will be status quo how you do it now. No pictures necessary.

2. TAP approved. You submitted liability insurance and the Govt accepts you to market on their website. Submit 5 pictures - recommended. Also you could create a package and it will give you a second listing.

Use the NLTO Portal to register, update and renew Traveller’s Guide, NewfoundlandLabrador.com and travel offers listings, and submit occupancy reports.

The Newfoundland and Labrador Tourism Operator Portal is now open for unlicensed vacation rental owner/operators to start to register their properties.
