Countertops in thanks to Gio Industries, my go to for quartz, granite and more, in this case quartz. Lots more to do on this project but it’s starting to come together. All other trades booked in for this week and next week with a goal to complete this by the end of the month

Opened up the wall from the existing property to the addition. Major problem with the existing beam, not done right at all, now replaced with a triple 2x8 beam installed directly below the existing 2x6 double beam which was never the correct support for this opening

That’s the back door with screen door and windows installed. Now have to wait for inspection

That’s it for the moment. Shingles done and addition wrapped. Now waiting on electrical rough in, a quick first inspection then on to insulation

Another very productive day. Sheathing all done. Shingles tomorrow then it’s down to the electrician to do his stuff then we can insulate

Great to get the two walls done today and the rafters cut to the proper length. Fascia on tomorrow and the roof sheathing and hopefully the walls sheathed too

Well under way renovating the exterior of our property. Finding out s few issues which could have been avoided, but at least I have the opportunity to correct a few mistakes and also avoid future costs both outside and inside. Just hoping the weather holds now!
