Experience the joy of an old fashioned family winter outing of togetherness and bonding. Watch the kids run out to find their favourite sleigh, named after one of Santa's reindeer. You step out into fresh air, endless blue skies and a wonderland of fresh trees. Please dress warmly. Pick up a bowsaw near the sleighs. In the trees, you will encounter a comforting windshelter (facing south toward the
brilliant sunshine) and the wonder of two heated outhouses. There, a wall map will show locations of different tree types. Walk through about 3000 trees. Feel the excitement of finding just the right tree for you and your family. Take photos of cutting down your own tree and loading it into the sleigh. Now take a few moments, just stop the world, view the sky and breathe in the scent of freshly cut balsam fir, spruce and pine around you. Did you remember to bring rope or bungee straps to tie down your tree to the vehicle? Protective quilting or canvas is a good idea for a car roof. After loading your tree, warm up in our studio, with free hot chocolate, candy canes, Christmas music and meet new friends. See the kid's faces light up finding their photo from a previous year. Take a copy of it home with you. BTW if you have a friendly dog, please bring him/her!
