The Name Southshore refers to the fact I live on the South Shore of Lake St Clair, In Southern Ontario, Canada. I have had the good fortune to meet some great people in my travels. I was once a member of the now Retired Kowa Birding Team that won several World Series of Birding Titles, Florida Space Coast Titles and a Great Texas Bird Classic Title. I learned a lot from some of the worlds best bir
ders, Paul Pratt, Tom Hince, Bruce DiLabio, Pete Dunne and others. Now I bird strictly for fun and have birded 9 Provinces, 44 States, and parts of Asia and Europe. A few years ago I became involved with Photography and now try and capture what I see to share with others. Last summer I was fortunate to photograph Grizzly Bears in Alaska with the accomplished Tom Ganner.
