Our guide Aaron was very kind, knowledgeable and accommodating. We made plenty of stops to look at wildlife on the way, observing whale activity, sea otters, bird life and sealions. Since Ahous brings their morning tours before the general public can be there, we were a very small group and it felt like the place was truly a hidden gem.

"Had a great hot springs tour with our guide, Eugene! The hot springs themselves were small but we were the first boat of the day so we had them all to ourselves. We saw otters, a sea lion, seals, bald eagles, a grey whale and two bears along the way.

After a lively term marked by dedication, leadership and achievements, we announce that our General Manager, Corene Inouye, will be retiring from the tourism industry in Tofino, effective May 31, 2024.

Corene helped establish Ahous Adventures as a successful new business and she leaves behind a legacy that will inspire our team for years to come. As we bid farewell to Corene, we are pleased to announce that effective June 1st, Brent Baker will be stepping into the role of General Manager. Brent brings a wealth of experience and knowledge relevant to our industry, and an enthusiasm that will undoubtedly benefit our business and the growing opportunities that lie ahead for the Ahous Adventures team. Corene and Brent have worked very closely together for the past year to ensure a smooth transition.

"My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our early morning hot spring adventure with Eugene yesterday. The scenery on the way out was incredible, the hot springs and the hike in were beautiful and we saw lots of grey whales, sea lions and other wildlife on the way back. Ahous is the only outfit that has access to the hot springs so early in the morning so it wasn’t crowded when we were there but I can imagine it being very busy later on. "Loved my eco tour to Hot Springs Cove with Ahous Adventures. It was one of the best and most rejuvenating experiences I’ve ever had. The boardwalk was pristine and extremely well maintained and the hot springs were just beautiful. Not only that we saw several whales, otters, eagles and other wildlife on the boat ride to and from. Our captain, Eugene, was kind, funny, generous and very knowledgeable. I felt very taken care of by each staff member I encountered from start to finish.
