I didn’t get a chance to go mountain biking (included) or whale watching (not included) but they are both on my list for when I come back.
And I didn’t even start on all the winter activities - amazing skiing on Le Massif, skating on the rink just outside, snowshoeing and tobogganing and more….

Calling all Canadians!
This just in - effective October 30, travellers departing from Canadian airports, and travellers on VIA Rail and Rocky Mountaineer trains, will be required to be fully vaccinated in order to travel.
For travellers who are in the process of being vaccinated, there will be a short transition period where they will be able to travel if they can show a valid COVID-19 molecular test within 72 hours of travel, but that transition period will end on November 30.
In short, if you are a Canadian looking to travel by plane or train in or from this amazing country you will need to be vaccinated.

Hot topic: as someone who travels internationally and to various countries. Proof of vaccination is nothing new. It is what it is. For example, if a country requires you to be vaccinated from yellow fever to gain entry you can get vaccinated and be welcomed in or choose not to and not be allowed entry.
The Proof of Vaccination is also known as the Yellow Card. I have one as does every member of my family. It is all destination dependent and determined by where you are coming from and where you are going…but proof of vaccination for yellow fever, smallpox (yup, that was the first time proof of vaccination was required to gain entry to a country), polio and meningitis are nothing new.
Certain countries require you to be vaccinated against certain diseases in order to protect you and/or the community you are visiting.
Just thought that given the pandemic and heated debate going on about this topic, you might appreciate some background.
