Canadian Accordion Club "The Canadian Accordion Club, founded in 1985, drew its members mostly from central and southern Ontario. The CAC is for all ages and experience levels.

The club was primarily designed to encourage communication among accordion enthusiasts."Exert from The Encyclopedia of Music in Canada Members are encouraged to post their favorite songs, photos and stories about the accordion. You can also contribute by sharing helpful tips or you may be someone seeking advice on how to get started with the accordion. For those in bands or know of ones with accordion players, feel free to promote any upcoming shows. Please keep comments clean and friendly.

Peter and Madeleine Soave and Marin Nasturica will perform with the DieMahler Ensemble in Victoria, BC, on October 22. The ensemble will have an expanded string section, providing a beautiful backdrop against the accordions. Rainer Roth, clarinetist, will join them. Pablo Diemecke is the music director. Wednesday, June 15th the Gypsy Flame Show Band will be playing at the Rhapsody Continental Cuisine Restaurant.

Starting at 7:30 pm you will enjoy a wonderful hour mixed with Hungarian, Romanian, Russian and Gypsy musical offerings and 1940s Liza Minnelli style cabaret. A quartet consisting of a singer, dancer, violinist and keyboard/accordionist player featuring Can Can, Gypsy and Swing Dancing, Singing in French, Spanish, Russian, Romany and English with Hungarian, Romanian and Gypsy Violin solos will make it a truly memorable evening!

Acclarion featuring free-bass accordionist David Carovillano. Since 2003 they have been performing together throughout North America. They have just recently moved back to Ontario after being up North for a number of years and have settled in Windsor. You can check out their website www.acclarion.ca to learn more.
