This tour around Cusco is incredible. I wish I had pictures from the covenant of Santo Domingo and Basiica Cathedral but it's no cameras allowed so you just have to take my word for it. We also visited the impressive fortress of Sacsayhuaman, the dynamic San Pedro market and toured the traditional and Bohemian neighbourhood of San Bias. Message me for tips and trips to Peru and remember if you are not doing a tour package make sure to buy your entrance tickets well in advance.

Our last day in Sacred Valley before we move on. We started in the town of Chinchero where we visited an elevated urban centre, archaeological remains, and a beautiful seventeenth century church. We were then transferred to the Living Museum of Yucay for demonstrations of Andean traditions. We stopped in at Muna restaurant for a delicious buffet lunch in the town of Olliantaytambo and hiked up the steps of an iconic Inca sanctuary and ceremonial site to the Temple of the Sun.
