A highlight of our Colombia tour is a visit to El Peñón de Guatapé, a gargantuan 200-meter-high monolith near Medellín. The indigenous Tahamí people thought so highly of it that they worshipped it - talk about a rock star! What's even more impressive is that it dates back 65 million years to when dinosaurs roamed the Earth.

Upon reaching the top, we'll be rewarded with incredible views of the lush green mountains and sparkling lakes surrounding it. Considered one of the greatest treks in the world, the Inca Trail offers a challenging yet rewarding 4-day hike to Machu Picchu. Our recent group conquered the trail and reached the world-famous citadel while enjoying sweeping views, friendly llamas (and alpacas), and the camaraderie of fellow LGBTQ+ hikers along the way!
