There's nothing more alarming than reading online forums and messages from people whose vacations were spoiled because their resort or hotel didn't meet expectations.

Some may not mind where they sleep as long as they can explore and enjoy their destination.

However, for others, the quality of the resort or hotel can make or break their entire vacation.

Whether you’re road-tripping through the US this summer or exploring the Côte d‘Azur, here are my top tips for making the most of Google Maps when you travel 🔎

➡️ Save Offline Maps: Before you go, download maps for your destination by tapping the location, choosing "Download," and voilà! You can now navigate without the internet.

➡️ Explore with Street View: Here‘s a cool trick! Drop the adorable yellow peg man on the map and virtually stroll through the streets. It‘s like being there already. Do this around your hotel to get familiar with nearby places.

I would choose boutique resort because of the ambiance. and personalized service.

✈️ Hotel room upgrade or seat upgrade?
I would choose seat upgrade because being pampered while on the way to my destination helps set the tone for my vacation.

🍹All-inclusive resort or cruise?
I would have a hard time choosing as I have acquired a love of cruising in the past few years.
