As much as we, as a company, tried to avoid any of our clients, service fees, planning fees, and cancellation fees, we have found ourselves in a situation of a very large uptick of ships, resorts, hotels, flights, rental cars, guided tours, villas, etc. filling up, selling out of, and raising their prices exponentially, due to post Covid. Therefore, it is taking a lot longer to research, book, make changes, and cancel reservations for each client. So, much to our dismay, we are going to have to stop waiving all of the above-mentioned fees. We fully realize that our customers have become accustomed to us waiving these, and we cannot apologize enough, for now having to implement them. Here is a sample of fees that we were all along supposed to charge, and, unfortunately, will have to begin charging, as of any new bookings beginning July 1, 2023. If you are already booked, you will automatically be grandfathered in, and no fees assessed. All of these fees will now match our parent company of our travel agency franchise as well as the industry standard costs.

For cruises, $24.99 service fee. A $50 to $300 planning fee to add any air or land components. Depending on how extensive these components are to research. And, a $35 per person cancellation fee. In addition to the change and cancellation fees the cruise line or land vendor charges.

For land packages, $24.99 service fee, a minimum of $50 planning fee, up to $300, depending on how extensive the package is, to book, service, or cancel. The parent company charges everyone a flat $300 planning fee, but, we would like to be flexible on this. Also, the traditional $35 per person cancellation fee. In addition to the change and cancellation fees the vendor charges.

We hope that each client understands the need to now charge the fees that everyone has already been paying, in an effort to help compensate for our time invested, per reservation. 6 hours on hold with a cruise line or land vendor, hinders our ability to assist other clients, when simply just making changes or canceling your bookings. We would much rather take care of everything for you, than you have to worry about anything. 🤗

I’m never one to try and be an alarmist, but, what we are currently seeing in the travel industry is, people are booking, in droves. With prices skyrocketing, and people pre-planning, the ships, resorts, hotels, airlines, rental cars, etc. are filling up faster than we have ever seen. I, personally, am even struggling to find 1 cabin, on an Oct. sailing for 2024. I’m on a waiting list. All of that said, I IMPLORE each of you to PLEASE book early. Even for trips as far out as 2025. People are seeing prices increase, and are no longer playing around with securing travel plans. If you have ANY trips that we can immediately get a quote to you for, PLEASE reach out immediately. I have now had 10 clients want travel since I got back from my cruise Monday, and every vendor was completely sold out. Even through 2025.
