We are pleased to have received a Silver medal at international wine competition Chardonnay-du-Monde for our 2022 Old Main Road Chardonnay. This prestigious competition is held each year in Burgundy and 2024 marks their 31st annual competition. 579 wine samples from 33 countries were tasted and 189 medals were awarded. Congrats to all participants and kudos to our fellow BC wineries and on your awards and recognition.

Helloooo wine-loving friends!!! We are happy to announce that we will be honouring our by launching our NEW 💥 — SS Wanderer!

SS Wanderer is a slightly off-dry aromatic still white wine, made from a refreshing blend of Bacchus, Ehrenfelser, Muscat and Gewurztraminer, all grown in our little hamlet of Kaleden. It is designed to drink right from the can, making this a truly ideal wine for wandering.

AND, this Easter long-weekend, you can taste SS Wanderer in our tasting room FROM MAGNUM!!!

If that isn’t a fun start to the season, we just don’t know what is 😉

Simply stunning up here on Anarchist Mountain Vineyard today where our team is busy pruning in the sunshine ☀️

A little bit of history about this Osoyoos site:

In the ‘80’s, pioneer and miner by trade, Tony (Anton) Dekleva blasted a “mine-like” reservoir into the side of the mountain and witched three water wells to gain access to water. We have a Youtube video of Tony telling us about the reservoir, the link to the video can be found in our bio 👆

Tony planted roughly 3-5 acres of grapes completed around 1985. In 1993 he sold the vineyard to a German family called the Mauz’s, and in 1994, the Mauz family planted an additional 1 acre of Merlot. In 2010, Terry and Andrew purchased the property and in 2014 through 2015 they planted a half an acre of Cabernet Franc on the upper bench of the property.

Today there are roughly 4 acres planted: 1 acre of Pinot Noir, 1.5 acres of Chardonnay, 1 acre of Merlot and 0.5 acres of Cabernet Franc 🍇

And like that, we are less than two weeks away from opening our tasting room for the 2024 season! Opening day is set for March 18th, we can’t wait to welcome you back!

Please note our Spring hours:
Starting March 18, Mon-Sat, 11am-3pm
Fri-Sun of Easter long weekend, 11am-3pm
Closed Easter Monday, April 1

Walk-in wine tastings are welcome, or you can book in advance online. We are family friendly and we love dogs - a gentle reminder to have your furry friends on leash please.

During Easter weekend, we’re bringing back our ‘Wine Tasting & Small Bite’ offering, advanced bookings are required for this experience, please visit our website to book.
