Covid19 had reduced my monthly income by 90%
All of the upcoming seasons vacation rentals had cancelled due to the uncertainty during the first wave of the pandemic. But Then! The government started to allow non-esse
ntial travel within our provinces and territories causing people to rebook. The problem was that my vacation rental owners were nervous about keeping their guests, staff and community safe from Covid. We had to come up with a whole new process for cleaning and make it "Policy" so we could offer a guarantee to prospective guests. I was extremely worried about the implications of taking on such a huge responsibility. Then, I had an ah-ha moment! I realized that I already have an amazing system in place for overall deep down cleaning, in fact, we have always had procedural cleaning of every aspect of a vacation rental property; Including high touch surfaces. All we had to do was add HOSPITAL GRADE DISINFECTANT! My service became highly regarded and we were experiencing an almost overwhelming demand! I wanted to be able to clean as many vacation rental properties as possible and I knew I could build my business better and stronger this time around. The problem was that I couldn't possibly get to every vacation rental property that needs my help and although I am very successful with KAP Cleaners' highly trained teams, I just don't have the time to train every team in every situation in time for the coming tourism season! But I really want to help vacation rental owners and managers set a higher standard of clean! And then it hit me! Why not offer a training program? One that will give the vacation rental owners and managers the key fundamentals in motivating staff, as well as providing staff with the systems and processes to keep exceptionally clean suites all the time?
