A new golf cart rental service has launched in Vancouver called HeyYa! Rentals, allowing residents and visitors to explore the city streets in eco-friendly electric vehicles. The company is renting out street-legal golf carts that seat between 4-8 people and have a top speed of 40km/h, permitted on roads with speed limits under 50km/h. The blue carts are available for hourly or daily rentals from HeyYa! Rentals to provide tours around Vancouver. Renters must be age 19+ with a valid driver’s license. The golf carts provide a sustainable alternative to standard vehicles for cruising neighborhoods and checking out the city. ⛳️🏌️

Well it’s official, we are now honorary Newfoundlanders!
Started the day visiting the Terry Fox memorial, which is near & dear to my ♥️then off to Signal Hill with amazing views of the Atlantic and whale watching.
Next stop was Quidi Vidi, a quaint little village that is a must see.
We then ended the evening being screeched in by our new friend Bob & his cod….some singing and drinks.
Thank you NFLD, you have not disappointed .

Winding down while in St. John’s with a drive to Cape Spear to visit the light house and….watch the whales playing.
Then off to Whitless Bay to see more whales and Puffins galore🧡.
Ending with a lobster supper!

Busy day, touring the picturesque villages of Bonavista & Trinity. Bonavista lighthouse had a flock of Puffins on a rock looking over the sea. Another check on my bucket list!
Then south to St.John’s…bring on the sun☀️

Gander NFLD.
Spent some time at the Aviation Museum and then the Gander airport. Loved hearing the amazing stories of Sept. 11, 2001 when 38 planes from all around the world were diverted to Gander after North America closed down the air space bringing in 7000 people to this small community.

Stopping at The Arches then a cruise around Bonne Bay, rain did not stop us…brrrr🥶

Early morning, whales and iceberg, and cold!!!
The large iceberg is approx. 175 ft above the water, 7/8 of it is under the water….it will melt and break off within the next couple of weeks.

Today we left Newfoundland on route to Labrador by ferry.
We crossed Belle Isle, on our way to Red Bay.
We saw a caribou, moose, and iceburgs!

Today we headed North to Gros Morne National Park, stopping at Lobster Cave Head, Port Au Choix and spending the night in St. Barbe….in the middle of nowhere!
Unfortunately it was too overcast to see much of Gros Morne but we are coming back thru on Friday so hopefully we will have clear skies.
