It’s travel Tuesday, and today I want to talk about our tour in Split, Croatia 🇭🇷. I contacted , aka Emma, when I knew I would be visiting Split, and she suggested that we try her and her husband’s Food tour. The company is called . This tour was incredible! Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and fun, we tasted amazing traditional foods and drinks, and got a great tour around the Diocletian’s Palace. The story of the Palace is fascinating, and it’s a must visit in Split. I highly recommend you booking this tour if you are visiting Split, Croatia 🇭🇷. Have you ever done a food and drink tour?

Happy Throwback Thursday. This memory popped up for me recently, it was September 2021, and we were departing for our very first trip to Europe. It was also our first trip since the pandemic had started in 2020. I still remember how excited we were to be travelling again, and to be visiting Europe for the first time. It’s amazing to me that since that trip, I’ve been back to Europe 4 times, as well as several trips to the Caribbean/Mexico, and Vancouver/Alaska. Sometimes I think we need to remind ourselves to not take our ability to travel for granted, now that the pandemic is a distant memory. I am so grateful to have had the opportunities to see this much of our beautiful world, and hope to be able to continue exploring it as long as possible. How about you?

Happy Wine Wednesday my friends. Today I’m sharing a specialty dining experience we had while onboard Azamara Pursuit, in the steakhouse restaurant. I really enjoyed the Bordeaux Blanc and Syrah that I chose for that meal, paired with some amazing foods. And you certainly cannot beat the ocean view, with a sunset to end the evening on a high note. If you cruise, do you opt into the Specialty Dining Experiences, or stick to the main restaurants?

For Travel Tuesday, I chose the iconic Rialto Bridge in Venice, Italy 🇮🇹.

Rialto Bridge: An iconic symbol of Venice, the Rialto Bridge spans the Grand Canal with its elegant arches. This historic bridge is not only a popular tourist attraction but also a bustling spot with shops and stunning views of the canal. Perfect for photos, shopping, and soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of Venice. I found Venice to be one of the most charming cities I’ve ever visited. So easy to get lost in all the little alleyways, but so much to see as you are getting lost. I would definitely recommend having your accommodation on one of the main canals, such as the Grand Canal, as it can be difficult to get to some hotels if they are not on the main canals.
