PUBLIC NOTICE – FIRE BAN IN EFFECT 🔥 🚫

A complete fire ban has been issued for Fundy National Park, applicable to all visitor facilities, including all day-use areas and all front and backcountry campgrounds. This means ABSOLUTELY NO campfires are permitted anywhere in the Park, even in Parks Canada designated fire pits and metal fire boxes, until further notice.

This fire ban follows the province-wide burn ban during unprecedented weather while other jurisdictions are occupied by wildfires.

While public safety is foremost, fire bans help reduce pressures on firefighting personnel and fire-suppression resources during prolonged extreme fire danger conditions.

⚠️Fire permit holders will be refunded through the reservation system.

For more information on NB’s wildfire and fire management, please visit the provincial government’s website: https://www2.gnb.ca/content/gnb/en/news/public_alerts/forest_fire_watch.html
