Hi!! Just wanted to pop in and give ourselves a little introduction! 🌲

We are the Bohn’s and the owners of East Sooke Treehouse. My husband and I met six years ago, in 2017. In May 2019, we moved into our home in East Sooke one week after our son was born.

Tyler began the designing and building of the treehouse in the fall of 2019. We officially opened East Sooke Treehouse for business April 2021 after a year and a half of Ty pulling evenings and weekends to complete it. We’ve just been awarded Top New Host in BC based on our five star reviews and high number of bookings. I had an interview with CTV this morning and can’t stop cringing at how awkward I was. But, really, we are so grateful and happy to have achieved this! ❤️

I gave birth to our daughter, Louise, on February 11th. We had our favourite photographer out to the treehouse to do some newborn pics and she snapped this “cheese” photo outside the treehouse. I think it perfectly represents our little family.

I want to thank all of our guests and followers for supporting our unique little getaway. Reading our reviews and the messages in the guest book always makes our day! There’d be no success without our amazing guests. It’s a pleasure hosting you!
