Hospitality Newfoundland and Labrador
The Newfoundland and Labrador Indigenous Tourism Association participated in the Beothuk Institute AGM at Boyds Cove Beothuk Interpretation Centre on Sunday May 29th. It included a walk to the spirit garden, a smudge, drumming and signing, the formal meeting, archeological updates, and a viewing of a doumentary film “Who Will Sing With Me” by Roger Bill.
The Beothuk Institute is committed to developing a better public knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the history and culture of the Beothuk, of their prehistoric ancestors, and of other First Nation Peoples of the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
