Throwing it back to Carnaval in La Paz, Mexico—such an incredible energy! The streets were alive with music, dancing, and the most vibrant parade floats. Mexico may not be the first place that comes to mind for Carnaval, but trust me, they know how to celebrate!

Of course, when you think of Carnaval, places like Brazil, Trinidad & Tobago, and Venice probably come to mind first. But Mexico (especially La Paz and Mazatlán) brings its own flair to the party!

Throwing it back to my visit to Taipei in the early 2000s—what an incredible city! 🇹🇼 I went to visit a friend who was teaching English there (tagging you for the memories!), and it turned into an unforgettable trip!

From the historic Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall to the fascinating treasures at the National Palace Museum, and, of course, the views from Taipei 101, the city was full of culture and excitement🥰

Evenings were all about the night markets like Shilin and Raohe, where we tried everything from oyster pancakes to beef noodle soup and (bravely!) stinky tofu—Taipei is a food lover’s paradise 🍲

With direct flights from Toronto on EVA Airlines, plus the option to stopover for a few nights en route to other Asian destinations, Taipei is a must-visit city that truly has it all ✈️

Exploring the heart of Zagreb has been unforgettable🇭🇷

Wandered through the thought-provoking Museum of Broken Relationships, took a ride on the world’s shortest funicular between Lower and Upper Town, and indulged in the best traditional Croatian dishes at Ficlek and La Struk (hello, delicious strukli!)😋

Staying at the charming Boutique Hotel Jagerhorn has been a dream—perfect location and amazing value right in the old town city center. Croatia, you have my heart❤️

Throwback to over 15 years ago, exploring the beauty of La Ceiba, Honduras at Palma Real Resort! 🌴🐴

We rode horses up the mountains, relaxed in the hot springs, and flew down by zip line. Then, we ventured out on a boat to the breathtaking Cayo Cochinos islands for some unforgettable snorkeling! 🏝️🐠🐡
