Dear Friends, Valued Clients, and Followers:

It has been a while since I've posted personally and wanted to give you a little update as I know I've been quieter than usual on here. I am lucky to have great systems in place that inspire you with daily destination info and supplier offerings. I am also lucky to have wonderful supporters in all of you.
As you know I am a self-employed entrepreneur with over 30 years in the travel industry. You may not know that I am also a small store owner. I've been a co-owner of an artisan and gift shop for over a year but in January became the sole owner. It is a dream come true for me, but VERY time-consuming. Essentially, I have 2 full-time businesses.
As the majority of my travel business consists of creating large, customized itineraries, I am working basically 12 hours days, 7 days a week at this point, which is not sustainable. It is unfair to my clients who expect and deserve my time and attention, and exhausting for me. I live in fear of making a huge mistake.
Therefore, I need to pivot to be better. Effective immediately, I will be changing my business model and will only be booking river cruises, ocean cruises, escorted tours, and all inclusive holidays. I will only be booking flights in conjunction with the above mentioned trips. I will not be taking on any more customized holidays.
If we have already chatted and I am already working on something for you outside of the above-mentioned or in the middle of your booking, not to worry. You are a priority and your inquiry/booking will be attended with love and gratitude. I have some amazing trips in the works for people (hello Italy!!) I am just simply not taking on NEW large, customized piece work trips moving forward. I received three requests yesterday alone which I am so thankful for but I can't service my existing requests by taking on more of these kinds of trips.
My fee schedule is changing as well and will be updated on my website shortly. Services provided to annual plan clients will not change.
By implementing these changes, I am freeing up time to ensure EVERY client is being cared for in an efficient manner and receiving the level of service I have always been known for.
I have struggled with making this decision as I am the type of person who tries to be everything to everyone. If you have made it this far in my novel, THANKYOU! I appreciate you, your business and your referrals.
