The Bunkhouse

- My heart and soul
- A place where people gathered and shared laughter
- A place where people enjoyed events
- A home to people in a time of need
- A lodge to give hunters the best Canadian experience we could
- A place that connected our family, where everyone pitched in to make every stay perfect
- A place we will never forget

We are in shock and still trying to digest the devastation that hit our family late Friday afternoon. We lost our bunkhouse in a fire.
This is a picture of the bunkhouse now, after many tears and still trying to digest the reality, I went down and found a few antique pieces that I will be able to salvage to bring a slight smile to my face.

The situation could have been so much worse if it wasn’t for our AMAZING family, friends, neighbours and community fire departments, that came to help in a time of need, to contain the fire and keep it from spreading to our house, shop, trees and neighbours yards.

We can’t thank everyone enough for coming to help on Friday, who brought food and cards, who sent messages and flowers, it all brought us joy to help us get through this tragedy. We are so thankful for all of you!
