The WestJet Group has confirmed that it will now begin integration efforts of its ultra-low-cost airline Swoop. In a press release on Friday (June 9), the company said that it anticipates a full integration of Swoop into its mainline operations by the end of October.

Here we go again..🛫

The pandemic continues to throw curve balls in our industry. Is it a shock? No. It's a reality after watching airports, airlines, and the industry struggle to keep people in positions to make things run smoothly.

Running smoothly unfortunately just isn't happening.

My only piece of advice is use an agent. Yes, it's easy to book online, however no one is picking up the phone to help when there is an issue, nor telling you an issue is around the corner.

International, US Travel & Domestic travel is no different.
I hear so often.. "I'm only flying to Toronto so it was easy to book online" Domestic flights are the most problematic flights at the moment.

30-40% of my business is from Canadian travel. Just because you are travelling in Canada doesnt mean you get priority or you avoid wait times. I spend 50% of my day on the phone waiting for resolutions, so travellers don't have to.
