Wow! Our meal in Burlington VT was excellent. Indoors was full when we arrived so we enjoyed cocktails on the patio before being seated inside. It’s a small space - cozy and welcoming. The dishes are for sharing and we ordered 4 which was just right. Each dish was soooo flavourful and the service welcoming and casual.
Poco was recommended to us the night before by our server at another great restaurant. We were so happy with the recommendation that we popped back in (luckily she was working) to say thanks to her.
If in Burlington VT, definitely check out Restaurant Poco!!

Delicious! This bottle of mezcal barrel finished gin from O’Brien and Brough distillery was gifted to us while visiting family in Stratford Connecticut. Had a wee taste on the rocks - very smooth with a smoky finish. It was suggested to us that we enjoy it with blue cheese stuffed olives so we’ll be looking for those while wandering the streets of Portland Maine today.

Lisa and Glenn from farms kindly brought some honey on what was their 4th annual tour with me yesterday. Glenn warned me that the honey is addictive and judging by my first taste i might need to make the road trip to their farm when this jar is gone!
