Gourmet kitchen, spa inspired bathrooms, floor to ceiling windows & neutral design allow the incredible nature surrounding the property to take center stage. The Lakehouse is located on 1.5 acres with 250ft of private waterfront. Enjoy the quiet calm that lake life has to offer! The space
You will instantly feel invited to unplug and recharge upon entering the Lakehouse. The Lakehouse was designed to be an oasis for all; appealing to a myriad of travel enthusiasts.
Those looking for a spa-like retreat in nature will enjoy their morning coffee taking in the beautiful sunrises and end their evenings being lulled to sleep by the beautifully haunting call of the loons that call Lac Des Roches home.
Those looking for a fun family vacation can do “all” the things. Swim, hike, boat, ski, kayak, look for frogs, catch dragonflies, paddle board, fish, play on the climbing dome, play board games, and of course tell ghost stories!
Those looking for outdoor sports adventures have come to be the perfect spot. The Lakehouse is perfectly situated to access incredible snowmobiling and atv’ing trails. We have ample space for your trailers carrying your winter and summer “toys.”
Those looking to make their first catch or their biggest catch have found the spot to do it! Lac Des Roches is located on BC’s “fishing highway” and is considered an angler’s dream. A free boat launch is located minutes from the Lakehouse and one of the Lakehouse owners is an expert level angler who has left his fishing tips in the Lakehouse’s Guide Book available exclusively for our guests looking to beat his record of an 10lb2oz rainbow trout.

The Lakehouse has a minimum 4 night stay.
The Lakehouse is unfenced, so pets are NOT currently welcome. However, for those guests with allergies we must disclose that a low shedding dog has occasionally been allowed in the Lakehouse but has never been in the beds or on any of the furniture.
The Lakehouse has 3 bedrooms (2 upstairs and 1 on the main floor) and offers a variety of sleeping options to accommodate our guests’ needs.
The waterfront Master bedroom with a king sized bed boasts expansive lake and mountain views with wall to wall windows and 18’ ceilings. This room also offers a Queen pull out sofa bed for those with children who prefer to sleep in the same room.
The upstairs mountain view bedroom also offers a King bed as well as full sized wooden crib for those travelling with a baby. Both of the upstairs bedrooms offer incredibly high 18’ ceilings, with ceiling fans and sleek pot lights.
The main floor mountain view bedroom offers two (2) twin beds.
The livingroom couch is also a queen sized pull out sofabed. While the Lakehouse technically sleeps 11, we restrict the rental to 8 to ensure the most comfort for our guests’ stay. We have small children and understand that sleeping arrangements can be “tricky” with kids, so offer the extra space if it’s required.
The Lakehouse bedrooms offer large closets with ample storage for your things. Luxurious bedding and towels have been curated to enhance your relaxation while at the Lakehouse.
The Lakehouse’s serene colour palette is intentionally neutral to allow the beauty of the outdoors be the main focus from all the many large windows throughout.
The fully equipped gourmet chef’s kitchen includes elegant quartz countertops, soft close cabinets, custom backsplash and premium stainless steel appliances including a gas range, dishwasher, fridge, microwave and wine bar. Cooking with views of the lake makes cooking infinitely more enjoyable! The kitchen island has seats for 8 (and a high chair can be provided) and offers spectacular lake and mountain views. The kitchen is stocked with all the cooking utensils you could need as well as some basics (saran wrap, salt/pepper, cooking spray, tea, coffee – because really, who enjoys packing their own S&P?!?)
After enjoying the incredibly fresh air all day, you’ll enjoy being able to relax in the Lakehouse’s open concept living/dining area. A custom made sofa and occasional chairs invite you to relax by the tiled, floor to ceiling feature wall with an electric fireplace while watching the lake. The flat screen t.v. is connected with Apple TV, Crave, Prime and Netflix for those who aren’t quite ready to truly unplug (the struggle is real!). The kitchen island is stocked with a variety of board games for the young and young at heart to enjoy at the coffee table or island. The Lakehouse is the perfect spot to curl up with a great book. If you forget to pack one, we always have a selection available for our guests to enjoy during their stay.
The spa inspired bathrooms offer tubs with rain showers and floating glass shower doors. , tile and ample storage for personal toiletries.
The mudroom keeps your shoes and coats contained and is where you’ll find the washer and dryer, stocked with detergent and dryer balls, in case you need to clean any of your clothes while you’re there …but let’s hope the laundry can wait until you get home as no one should have to do laundry on vacation!

The Lakehouse can be accessed with your customized entry code that will be provided in advance of your stay.
While here, you'll have access to our patio, BBQ and a climbing dome for the kids.
Summer activities: swimming, fishing, boating, tubing, waterskiing, wakeboarding, hiking, canoeing, paddle boarding, golfing, horseback riding, biking, ATV’ing. We have lots of space to park your trailer hauling your toys!
Winter: ice skating, ice fishing, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, snowmobiling
Wildlife is abundant with deer, fox, otters and eagles often seen on the property.
There is a boat launch just minutes from the Lakehouse. We do not supply boats but a fishing boats can be easily rented from a nearby resort and we can assist you with the contact details.
If you have young children, please bring a lifejacket for them to wear anytime they are near the water.
We provide limited data WiFi so you can receive emails, texts and use your apps however, it’s not intended for downloading of movies or apps.
Other things to note
We really like our neighbours (they’re actually our parents) and want them to continue to like us. So, if you like to party, please choose a different property – Airbnb offers a ton of wicked, awesome party places – this just isn’t one of them. This is a family orientated, quiet Lakehouse, so it is best for quiet guests or a family that can comply with the 10pm-8am quiet hours.
The Lakehouse has exterior security cameras filming the driveway and front entrance and the patio entrance.
We are on a septic system so really appreciate you taking shorter showers and not running the water when brushing teeth.
This is the first season we’re offering the Lakehouse as a rental. We very much appreciate you treating it like the oasis we believe it is and welcome your feedback to make it even more spectacular for your next stay (we’re pretty confident we’ll have repeat guests!)
