✨Day 1 - Travel Day✨
It’s time for my solo Walt Disney World Trip! This isn’t my first time doing Disney World solo, but it is my first time prioritizing having a more relaxing trip! Disney can be a very fun but exhausting vacation, and since this is my third time here this year I decided to make it a different experience than normal!
It was an early morning for me as Niagara Airbus picked me up right on time at 5:30am! If you’re ever needing reliable transport to and from Pearson Airport, I’ve always had great experiences with Niagara Airbus!
I was flying out of Toronto Pearson Airport at 10:25am with Westjet. Thankfully, it looks like the delays at Pearson have been resolved, because the wait time for security and US customs preclearance were less than waiting in line at Starbucks!
Upon arriving at MCO, I made my way down to ground transportation in Terminal B to catch the Mears Connect shuttle. This is my second time taking Mears, and each time went smoothly. Although they made 3 other stops before my resort, it only took about an hour to arrive at my resort from the time I stepped onto the bus.
And now onto the fun stuff - the resort! This was my first time staying at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, and it was gorgeous! The front desk cast members were lovely and the lobby in Gran Destino Tower is stunning. I stayed in a Preferred King Room in Casitas building 3. It was a short walk to the main amenities and to bus stop #2. The room was very spacious and recently renovated in 2019. I fell in love with this resort for the quiet and relaxing atmosphere and the many amenities! I will do an entire post on this resort as there is so much to talk about!
After a long travel day I relaxed around the resort for the rest of my evening to prepare for my next day at Magic Kingdom!
