While Sicamous sleeps, eager waterskiiers are up and at ‘em on the hunt for calm water.
Joel Poland, waterskiing world champion and two-time world record holder, recently skied on Mara Lake. The three-event skier, who is sponsored by Shuswap Ski and Board, recently clinched first place overall at the Calgary Cup competition with 2970.98 points.
Joel pulled out some tricks during his slalom run on Mara, breezing through the course with his outside hand on the handle and turning a quick 360 before calling it a day.💥
