Hey everyone! I'm excited to announce our first retreat dates for 2018! Heartspace: The Yoga & Meditation Retreat will take place July 23 - 27, 2018 at Willow Retreat & Healing Space! Featuring Baddeck's own Keshia Fortune, Certified Yoga Teacher and all-around good gal ! :) We only have 6 spaces for this retreat, so get your deposits in! Amazingly affordable, the cabin in which I stayed cost $50/night, with a wonderfully comfortable queen sized bed. The caretaker Anne is a wonderful lady who makes a mean plate of bacon and eggs. The reiki was great, the meditation training was perfect. For anybody who needs some peace and quiet.

Hey guys, so I just got a call from a lady who told me her phone sent her a reminder about the Cider Making Workshop event taking place today! I don't know how her phone got the wrong date, but I wanted to make sure everyone knows that the event takes place TOMORROW, Sunday October 8!

As well, I see a few people are interested, but nobody so far has confirmed that they are actually going. So please, if you plan to attend, let me know, just so that I can have a sense of how many people to make lunch for! Thanks everyone! :)

Nature lovers' paradise - Review of Willow Retreat & Healing Space, Middle River - TripAdvisor

I had a wonderful experience camping for four nights at Willow Retreat. It’s well located for exploring the Cabot Trail and surrounded by enchanting forest and mountains. It features a wildflower garden by the cabin and main lodge, a large fire pit in the field, and a screened-in gazebo with hammock, which proved perfect on a rainy day. The campsites are pretty private and close to the facilities. The wash cabin is very clean. I'm happy i took advantage of morning yoga, breakfast and coffee, and laundry services. But best of all was the kind hospitality of my host. I am so grateful for this find! I would not hesitate to go back.

Just got an awesome review on Tripadvisor from the cabin guests! :)

Great cabin!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Willow retreat for 3 nights. The cabin was clean, tidy and was everything we needed. The washrooms were impeccably clean. Anne, the owner, cleaned them every day. The hot shower and real flushing toilets were a treat. It was perfectly located on the Cabot Trail, close to all destinations. We ate meals in the gazebo and had a late night bon fire. Anne was a gracious host and went out of her way to make sure we were having a great time. Molly, the dog, was incredibly friendly and sweet. Overall, our 3 night stay was very comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here!

Ps- Anne makes a mean loaf of bread.
