The Barbados Food and Rum Festival is a star-studded, taste-budded four-day destination event showcasing the talents of Barbados’ most renowned rum producers, chefs and culinary personalities.⁣⁣

The Festival is held annually to mark the tradition of rum on the island, and attracts thousands of rum and gastronomy lovers who visit enjoy the local cuisine and the joyful Caribbean atmosphere. Cove Bay, located on the north-east coast of Barbados, is a lovely picnic spot where the only sounds are of powerful waves pounding against high cliffs.⁣

Easy to get to, but the home stretch involves driving through a field maneuvering around few cows.... (maybe even sheep and goats)!

Once you make the trek, you'll be rewarded by beautiful scenery of the northern coastline and can enjoy the quiet calm under the swaying coconut trees.⁣
