May we present to you 🥁... 5 Fun Facts about Tremont Studios, located on Creative Simcoe Street in Collingwood! 🎨🖌️✨ This historic building is absolutely breathtaking! It was so much fun browsing the galleries, admiring the artwork, and chatting with local artists 🥰 Here are 3 featured "Artists in Residence" 🧑‍🎨: 1. Say "hello" to Susan Burton as you enter the Tremont Studios! She specializes in realistic (and adorable) oil paintings of pets, striving to capture their unique personalities on canvas. As you can see, Susan was hard at work on her next piece! 🐾 2. John Wallace Burton is an oil painter who is known for showcasing the beautiful scenery around Georgian Bay. He so kindly walked me through his artistic process and as you can probably tell, his newest painting is still in the early stages. I can't wait to come back and see the amazing finished product! 🌊 3. You can find Lisa Hannaford upstairs on the second floor surrounded by walls of vibrant oil, acrylic, and watercolour paintings. This studio had so much energy, illuminated by the bright colours of her abstract creations. Watch as Lisa does the finishing touches on this gorgeous painting depicting a vase of flowers.
