Merry Christmas!🎄
We had a small Christmas morning with mostly stocking stuffer gifts. The main gift is 2 nights at Great Wolf Lodge, a 3-night carnival cruise and New Year’s Eve at Disneyland 🥰.

Happy to report we did not lose any passports this holiday season. Although I accidentally dropped Hannah’s in Comox but thankfully Hailey noticed.

Jollywood Nights review ✨️
This is the second year of Jollywood Nights at Hollywood Studios. I wasn't sure what to expect based on the reviews from last year, but I loved it!

You can enter the park at 6:00 pm with Jollywood Night tickets. However, the event doesn't officially start until 7:30pm.

Memory maker is included with this event. However, pictures taken before 7:30 pm will have a watermark on them until the next day. I didn't know this was going to happen, and I wish I did!

We didn't ride too many rides. I got my biggest kid to ride Rockin' Roller Coaster for the first time (it's a rollercoaster that goes upside-down).

There were so many photo ops and rare characters meets. And, most of them were near each other so there wasn't a lot of walking!

We didn't watch all the shows. We took advantage of watching fantasmic at 6:30pm when the park was still open to all guests and then just watched Nightmare Before Christmas (which was amazing).

My kids preferred MVMCP, but had we not going to MVMCP the night before Jollywood Nights, they might have appreciated Jollywood Nights more.

This was my first time attending Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. I've gone to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party before, so I expected it to be similar.

You can enter Magic Kingdom at 4:00pm with MVMCP tickets. We arrived at 3:00pm and by the time we took the ferry boat over from the TTC center we were in the slow moving line to get in. We used the first couple hours to ride Pirates of the Caribbean and Jingle Cruise. We stayed on that side of the park because we wanted to be at Tiana's at 6:00pm when the park closed to regular guests so we could get on without waiting long.

I went in with a list of priorities - all Christmas layover rides, Tiana's Bayou Adventure, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show, Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas Parade, and to snag a few of the complimentary drinks and cookies.

We managed to get everything done on our must do list, and we stopped at all 5 cookie stops. There are somethings we missed doing that I wish we had time for the frozen show, meeting Anna and Elsa in their Christmas outfits and ride a few more rides.

Memory Maker is not included with MVMCP, so I opted to buy the 1 day memory maker option.

We absolutely loved this event and would go to it every year if we had the chance!

While there are sales right now if you have a trip in mind that you haven't booked.. I wanted to share that in my experience booking early rather than waiting for a sale like this to happen saves you the most money!

Recap: Liberty of the Seas 4-night cruise to Cozumel.

This was our first cruise! We had 2 sea days and 1 port day. As this was our first cruise, I knew we would want to spend lots of time on the ship.

I think I got a little seasick the first night, carrying into the second day. It didn't affect me like how I thought sea sickness would. Everyone else was great.

It was me, my mom, and my 3 daughters on the cruise. We stayed in two inside cabin rooms. One room slept 4 people (we were supposed to have another child with us) and the other slept 2. I didn't mind the size of the room! I think this is one of those things that once you've experienced an ocean view or verandah room, you can't go back 😆.

The food was okay. It wasn't amazing but it also wasn't horrible. I think I could have chosen better dinner options to make my experience a little better. The food in the windjammer was good, though! Lots of options.

The kid's clubs were definitely not as fancy as the kid's clubs on Disney Cruise, but Raina(5 years old) enjoyed going. Hannah and Hailey (13 years old) went to the teens club once and didn't want to go back. It's an awkward age.. most of the kids were older than them.

There were lots of classes and shows on board. We didn't take part in all of them but the ones we did we enjoyed. Hailey really enjoyed the towel-folding classes.

I thought the pools would feel way too small, but there was plenty of room. I mainly enjoyed the hot tubs, of which there were 6 to choose from.

Our time in Cozumel felt pretty short. We did a snorkelling excursion, and it was okay. I enjoyed the end of the excursion where we had "free time" to chill out in a shallow part of the ocean.

I put sunscreen on my entire family but forgot about my back! The people running the excursion were really firm on not using sunscreens because it damages the reefs, so we didn't reapply sunscreen for the entire 4-hour excursion. I ended up with a really bad sunburn that was either a 2nd-degree sunburn or a really bad sunburn that got infected (likely due to going in the hot tub).

We really enjoyed our vacations and felt that we got the perfect amount of relaxation and adventure.

We have 2 more cruises planned in the next year with different cruise lines. I'm excited to see each cruise lines differences. And, if you are wondering, all the cruises we have booked are roughly $1,500CAD.

As of this morning, Haunted Mansion at Disneyland is no longer available through the virtual queue. You will have to have Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Premier Pass to skip the line, or you will wait in the standby queue.

Our day in Cozumel was amazing! We went on a snorkeling tour to a few different spots.

I learned you are allowed to jaywalk in Mexico, and there aren't many crosswalks (if there is any at all).

2nd day of the cruise! I had a little bit of seasickness in the morning until I took some medication. We watched the sexiest man competition and had a relaxing day at sea.
