#отпуск2021 Ottawa- столица Канады с 1867 года. Королева Виктория утвердила этот город как столицу Канады так как Оттава имела выигрышное положение ‒ она была равноудалена от двух важнейших в экономическом плане городов ‒ Торонто и Монреаля. К тому же она располагалась как раз на границе англоязычной и франкоязычной провинций, что выглядело как компромисс для тех и других. Город был достаточно удален от границы с США, что ввиду недавней англо-американской войны и восстания было очень даже благоразумно. В городе сейчас живет около 1 млн человек. Parliament hill - это огромный комплекс Парламентских зданий на холме. Также недалеко расположена резиденция премьер -министра ( Трюдо сейчас), а напротив него резиденция генерал губернатора Канады с прекрасным парком, фонтаном. Именно в этом парке высажены деревья разных президентов, и официальных лиц. Мы видели деревья, высаженные в этому саду Труманом, Кеннеди, Горбачёвым, королевой Елизаветой. Город очень зелёный со множеством зданий прекрасной архитектуры. Кстати, в данное время идёт реконструкция зданий Парламента, на которое выделено 3 млрд долларов. Уютные чистые улочки, парки и вид на реку и канал Редо ( зимой- самый длинный каток в мире, длиной 8км). Переезжая через мост ты оказываешься в городе Гатино и это уже провинция Квебек, где другие правила движения, все обозначения на французском языке. Уезжаем с приятным послевкусием от столицы.

#отпуск Город Квебек- жемчужина Канады. Был основан в 1608 году, кусочек Европейской архитектуры на Североамериканском континенте. Множество замков, храмов, величественное здание Парламента Квебека и, конечно, известнейший отель Фэрмонт в Квебеке. Старый город с маленькими мощёными улочками и уютными кафешками, магазинчики, звучит французская музыка на улицах. Обязательно нужно попробовать луковый суп и французские crepes с разными начинками. Квебек очень чистый, зелёный город, расположенный на юге долины реки Святого Лаврентия. Вокруг города прекрасные леса и долины. Также город входит в число исторических достопримечательностей мира под охраной ЮНЕСКО. Если вы живете в Канаде и соскучились по Европе, но нет времени/возможности лететь через океан, то очень рекомендую посетить именно город Квебек. Он не оставляет никого равно

Should you cancel your trip to Vancouver? According to Tourism Vancouver, " Vancouver remains very much ‘open for business’ as a travel destination". Our team wants to assure you that we are fulfilling all the recommendations of the relevant health authorities regarding the COVID-19. At the moment, there are 32 cases of infection in BC, most of which came from people who recently traveled to China, Hong-Kong or Iran.
Here is a quote from the latest Tourism Vancouver update: "The provincial government today confirmed that the risk of COVID-19 spread within British Columbia remains low and that the same low level of risk applies to all regions across Canada".

Chinese Classical garden is the FIRST Chinese garden built outside of China 😱 It is located in Chinatown, which is one of the last stops we make on our 4 hour City Tour.
