Happily Ever After starts tomorrow!✨

Sarah Winn, local artistic powerhouse is unveiling her NEVER BEFORE SEEN show “Happily Ever After” opening Thursday February 1st from 4-6pm and running until March 1st, 2024.

Happily Ever After is about the dark hidden meanings behind fairy tales and nursery rhymes. There’s a lot behind the stories that people don’t know and that’s what interests Winn.

“I have always been interested in the origin stories of bedtime stories or nursery rhymes. I love learning new things, so I thought a show on the subject would be not only fun, but also educational.”

Come meet the incredible artist of this fascinating, interesting, creative, fantastic show Sarah Winn!

The ice is in tip top shape and we are hopeful that it will last for another 5-6 weeks (knock on wood). In the short week we've had it open we've witnessed a ton of smiles, cautious Bambi-esque "haven't skated in 20yrs" stumbles and a fair few filthy dangles. Seeing our community frolic around like that truly makes the hard work of operating an ODR worthwhile.

This winter we have reduced our restaurant's weekday (M-Th) opening hours to close at 4pm since between 4-6pm the winter revenue potential is sparse and our skeleton crew is stretched thin as is with all their brewing, bookkeeping and culinary tasks. That will affect our rink opening hours as well. We are very keen to keep our rink open to you through a rental option that will be staffed for you outside of our regular hours. Rink rental is available M-Th from 4pm to 10pm with a basic menu of Tins & Snacks available for your crew. Please inquire at [email protected].

Safety tip for visiting Sandbanks Provincial Park this

**Safety notice** STAY AWAY from the Lake Ontario shoreline ice mounds. During most winters huge mounds of ice form along parts of the Lake Ontario shoreline. They may look compelling to climb on but they are EXTREMELY dangerous. They can break apart at any time, they are very slippery and if one was to fall into the water on the lakeside of these mounds, getting out of the water is virtually impossible. STAY AWAY. More than just Wine; uncovering the hidden gems of Prince Edward County, ON

Visiting Prince Edward County? Not sure how you're going to get to all the wineries you want and still be able to drive? Don't want to ask your significant other to drink less while you sample by yourself most of the day? Let's do this right! Hire me. Together we will plan a relaxing, guided tour of the local wine tasting bars, the distillery, the growing number of craft breweries, cider houses, hobby farms, artist venues, and beaches.

The tour starts where you are staying. I offer pick up from Prince Edward County B&Bs and Air BnBs as well as Belleville or Trenton hotels, and other neighbouring communities. Two price points: using my 2019 Nissan Rogue (4 passengers max) OR your own vehicle Tour lengths are your choice of 4, 5, 6, or 7 hours Focused on small, intimate tours for one to 4 adults, unless a 7 seated vehicle is provided

Local bilingual guide (EN/FR), pet friendly, 4:20 friendly Additional options: Dinner drop off and pick up, picnic lunch, swim break at a rock beach (optional wine/beer/cider)
